Congratulations to Professor Lynne Talley on her election to the National Academy of Sciences!  Professor Talley of Scripps Institution of Oceanography - UCSD leads SOCCOM's Observations team that plans float deployments, analyzes float data, and assimilates data into the Southern Ocean State Estimate.  We are proud to have her on our team and celebrate her well-deserved recognition!
