Position
Professor of Geosciences and the High Meadows Environmental Institute
Role
Principal Investigator, SOCCOM2
Office
153 Guyot Hall Princeton University
Bio/Description

Interests

Oceanic cycles of climactically important chemicals such as carbon dioxide and use of chemical tracers to study ocean circulation.

Biography

Curtis Deutsch models the interactions between biogeochemical cycles and the climate system so that scientists can better understand past environmental changes and predict those in the future. Much of his research focuses on the oceanic nitrogen and carbon cycles, as well as the implications of climate change on terrestrial biodiversity,

Dr. Deutsch serves as the Principal Investigator for the SOCCOM2 project. He and his research group are directly involved in data analysis and model analysis.
